Apple Reveals App Store Award Winners For 2022

Tech giant Apple revealed the list of most downloaded apps and games across free and paid categories.

The social network app BeReal won the app of the year award for iPhone.

GoodNotes 5 was awarded for the best app for iPad.

Gentler Streak, an exercise and fitness tracker, was awarded the best Apple watch app for the year.

This year’s App Store Award winners reimagined our experiences with apps that delivered fresh, thoughtful, and genuine perspectives,” CEO Tim Cook said.

MacFamilyTree 10, an app that allows users to explore their origins, ancestors, was named Mac app of the year.

Earlier, Elon Musk said that Apple has threatened to block Twitter on their App Store.
