CZ Expects Countries With No Currency To Add BTC To Reserves

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao when asked if any countries will add cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to their reserves in the future.

Zhao replied he expects countries that do not have their own currencies to start doing so.

"The smaller countries will start first, I think," he said.

Cryptocurrency regulation has been in the spotlight following the collapse of FTX.

Zhao in terms of crypto regulation said, the government should understand and regulate rather than resist the crypto sector.

He added that digital currencies have become more mainstream.

Zhao also mentioned that the industry is healthier now and just because FTX happened doesn't mean all other businesses are bad.
