Anti Lockdown Protests’ Pictures Turned Into NFTs

Widespread anti lockdown protests in China have gained the attention of the entire world in recent weeks.
Pictures taken from protests against China’s zero-Covid policy are now for sale on the largest NFT marketplace OpenSea.
A Polygon-based NFT collection of 135 photos titled “Silent Speech” capturing the protests in China are listed with a starting bid of 0.01 ETH.
Another series of NFTs called “Blank Paper Movement,” featuring crowds of protesters holding blank papers, was also listed with a floor price of 10 Ether.
Anti lockdown protests started last Thursday when a deadly fire erupted in Urumqi, the capital city of China’s northwestern province Xinjiang.
Protests spilled over in Urumqi, Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and Guangzhou.
Protests in China have gained the attention of mainstream media.
