Twitter Exec Objected To Musk's Joke, Fired One Week Later

Around 2 am on Halloween, Twitter's CEO arrived in New York and visited the company's offices to convince advertisers that the app was safe.

Musk was accompanied by his mom Maye Musk in the meeting with Twitter advertisers.

As per the Bloomberg report, Bill Koenigsberg, CEO of Horizon Media told Musk that some of his clients had heard about the meeting.

To this he said that they all asked, “Is he going to get Donald Trump back on the platform?”

And then he tweeted, if he had a dollar for every time someone asked him if Trump is coming back on this platform, Twitter would be minting money.

Musk reportedly paused before the post and asked everyone at the meeting if they liked his joke.

A Twitter executive objected to it, but Musk laughed and posted it and according to Bloomberg, the executive was fired later that week.
