Twitter To Introduce End-To-End Encrypted DMs

November 16, 2022

Twitter has started working on end-to-end encryption for DMs on Android.

Twitter DMs soon to be more secured with end-to-end encryption, the microblogging site announced today.

The app researcher Jane Manchun Wong has predicted about Twitter features in a tweet

"Twitter is bringing back end-to-end encrypted DMs".

Soon after Wong’s tweet, Elon Musk replied to the tweet with a wink emoji, hinting at the feature actually being under development.

New Twitter CEO had also announced that the Twitter would soon allow organisations to identify their associated accounts.

With Elon Musk's $44 billion Twitter take over last month, many aspects of Twitter are currently being modified.

Earlier on Tuesday, Musk had tweeted that the blue tick subscription will now return on November 29 to make sure that it is rock solid.
