Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will be delaying the launch of the $8 subscription feature indefinitely.

Musk also announced Twitter will tentatively launch verified next Friday, 2nd December 2022.

Twitter CEO further added that all verified marks will be manually authenticated before check activates.

lon Musk also revealed that all verified individual humans will have the same blue check, as the boundary of what constitutes “notable” is otherwise too subjective.

Twitter’s sole director further revealed that individuals can have a secondary tiny logo showing they belong to an org if verified as such by that org.

Elon Musk also tweeted that a longer explanation will be available next Friday.

Twitter will relaunch its $8 subscription feature on 29th November.
