Does Not Want To Pay 30% Cut To Apple

Elon Musk had announced to relaunch Twitter Blue this Tuesday with some modifications but it did not happen.

According to the Verge report, there will be more changes to Twitter Blue, including a cent hike from $7.99 to $8.

Elon Musk earlier expressed displeasure with Apple’s policy and that could also be the reason for Twitter Blue relaunch.

Musk also complained on Twitter that Apple stopped advertising on Twitter, which accounted for nearly 4% of the micro blogging platform’s revenue.

Twitter is also reportedly looking to implement verifications using phone numbers.

Musk also complained that Apple threatened to block Twitter from its App Store.

Twitter’s new owner also did not rule out the possibility of launching his own smartphone to compete with Google and iOS.
