Elon Musk Say He May Have To Launch His Smartphone

Elon Musk tweeted earlier today that he will launch his own smartphone if Apple and Google remove Twitter from their stores.

Discussing the implications of Apple and Google removing Twitter from the App Store or Play Store, Twitter said that he will make an alternative phone.

In his tweet, he said, “I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone.”

Earlier, Musk had complained that Apple charges too much for in-app purchases.

Musk said he will have no choice but to launch an alternative smartphone to bypass this hurdle.

Soon after Musk tweeted his intentions, #MuskPhone started trending on Twitter.

It might not be an impossible challenge for the tech billionaire to introduce his own brand of smartphones with a new operating system.
