Elon Musk tweeted a video showing black t-shirt with
#Stay Woke.
Musk added laugh emoji and wrote “Found in closet at Twitter HQ fr”.
Launched in April 2016, the
t-shirt was created by Twitter's 'Blackbirds' group whose mission is to support and promote diversity on Twitter.
Musk deleted a tweet which stated that the shirt “stem from the Ferguson protests”.
Following this, Musk shared a link to the Department of Justice report regarding the criminal investigation into the shooting death of Michael Brown.
Elon Musk has never been shy on opening about his political beliefs to the public.
Musk previously posted a tweet urging people to vote Republican in the midterm elections.
