Twitter Blue launch

Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will be delaying the launch of the $8 subscription feature indefinitely.

Musk had earlier announced to relaunch the subscription feature on 29th November.

Holding off relaunch of Blue Verified until there is high confidence of stopping impersonation, Musk tweeted.

When Twitter launched its controversial $8 subscription feature that allows you to have a verified blue tick, several new users signed up with parody names, causing chaos.

Twitter paused its blue tick feature shortly after launching it on 6 November, 2022.

Musk added that Twitter will probably have different color checks for organizations than individuals.

Twitter had earlier announced new users won’t be able to apply for Twitter Blue subscription until 90 days of their sign up date.
