As per the Reuters report, Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella is looking forward to buying Netflix.
In 2014, Nadella started its shopping spree by buying the hit game Minecraft for $2.5 billion.
Microsoft then acquired LinkedIn for $26 billion and later it also purchased the speech recognition and artificial intelligence software developer Nuance for $20 billion.
The largest revealed target of Microsoft is the Activision Blizzard deal at $69 billion.
Even if Nadella loses out to a video game company for competitive reasons, owning Netflix makes strategic sense.
Recently, Netflix has selected Microsoft as its partner for its ad-supported service.
As per Reuters, Nadella has shown his willingness to be a bold dealmaker and with that in mind, it's easy to imagine Microsoft targeting Netflix.
