Joins Celebrity List To Leave Twitter

Sir Elton John joins the celebrities list who have quit Twitter after Elon Musk took over.

Iconic British singer-songwriter Elton tweeted that he will no longer use Twitter citing misinformation as the reason.

He specified that recent changes in policy will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked.

Elon Musk replied to Elton’s tweet saying, “Hope you come back”.

Also, Elon asked him, “Is there any misinformation in particular that you’re concerned about?”

Elton joined Twitter in August 2010 and has 1.1 million followers.

Other celebrities in the list to quit Twitter are namely Shonda Rhimes, Whoopi Goldberg, Gigi Hadid and more.
