December 01,  2022

In an interview with the New York Times’s DealBook Summit, Sam Bankman-Fried, Former CEO of FTX, said he believes that he is not criminally liable for the collapse.

He further added that this is not what he is focusing on right now.

SBF said there is a time and place where I can think about myself and my future, “I don’t think this is it.”

Also, he added, “Look, I’ve had a bad month,” and the audience laughed at his comment.

Earlier, several from the crypto community, including billionaire Mark Cuban, predicted that SBF will end up in prison for his role in FTX collapse.

SBF, who is currently living in the Bahamas, was asked if could leave the island and come to the United States or go elsewhere.

Former FTX CEO replied to this stating, “To my knowledge, I could”.
