SBF spokesman Mark Botnick said in an email that SBF has retained Mark S. Cohen from Cohen & Gresser.
Cohen has recently defended Ghislaine Maxwell in her sex trafficking trial.
As per reports, Caroline Ellison, former CEO of Alameda has hired Washington-based law firm Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr to represent her.
WilmerHale is a well-known law firm which served as White House Counsel to Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.
On November 11, FTX and its affiliates filed for bankruptcy after SBF resigned from his CEO position.
FTX mentioned in its bankruptcy filing that the exchange faced a severe liquidity crisis that necessitated the filing of these cases on an emergency basis.
