Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried tweeted that he won’t be testifying in front of the US Congress on 13th December.

SBF tweeted that he is yet to finish learning and reviewing what happened at FTX, and won’t be able to finish by 13th December.

However, SBF assured that he feels it his duty to appear before the committee and explain.

SBF tweeted whenever he is done with learning about what happened at FTX, he will testify in front of the US Congress.

It is interesting to note how SBF has been giving interviews in the last week to clarify his situation but drew a line when he had to testify under oath.

SBF has been trying to distance himself from Alameda Research by saying he was not deeply involved with the company’s finances.

However, SBF was caught in his lies when Forbes revealed that the former FTX CEO had shared screenshots of Alameda’s balance sheet.
