Cyber Study Finds 6 Lakh Indians Data Sold On Bot MarketsTo China

A study of the cyber security researchers revealed that data of at least 6 lakh Indians have been stolen and sold on bot markets.

According to VPN service provider NordVPN, around 5 million people globally have had their data stolen and sold on the bot market.

Of which 600,000 are from India, making it the worst affected country, the study said.

The average price for the digital identity of one Indian is about Rs 490 ($5.95).

India was the most affected country in the world, with 12% of all the data on bots markets being Indian.

The selling data includes logins, cookies, digital fingerprints, screenshots, and other information.

At least 26.6 million stolen logins were found on the analyzed markets.
