Twitter Announces Policy Changes

According to the latest announcement, new Twitter users will have to wait 90 days before buying Twitter Blue.

New users won’t be able to apply for the blue checkmark for 90 days.

The roll out of Twitter Blue upgrade this month turned out to be chaotic as several users signed up with parody names and got blue checkmarks.

Before this announcement, Twitter had announced accounts created after 9th November won’t be able to apply for Twitter Blue.

Earlier, Musk said that paid accounts will lose the verified check mark until the social network confirms that the new name follows its rules.

Despite Elon Musk’s shaky start at Twitter, the social media platform hit an all-time high in users.

Elon Musk had earlier announced that Twitter will relaunch 29th November.
