As per the reports, Twitter will sell hundreds of surplus office supplies at auction beginning on January 17, 2023, and ending on January 18.

These items are listed on the online site BidSpotter titled as “Online Auction Sale Featuring Surplus Corporate Office Assets of Twitter”.

Items up for auction include kitchen appliances, Twitter sculptures, and office chairs with most items starting at $25 and $50.

In November, the company saw a "significant drop in revenue" as advertisers withdrew their ads.

However, "This auction has nothing to do with their financial situation," Nick Dove, president of Heritage Global Partners, which is in charge of the auction, told Fortune.

Since Musk acquired Twitter, the company has taken several steps, including laying off thousands of employees, pushing for a "hardcore" work culture and many more.

Recently, Musk has also begun converting some rooms at Twitter's headquarters into bedrooms.
